Author's Note: I'm on team Zane, but I decided to write a David/Tally story for a contest.

Zane is gone, gone forever. There's nothing I can do now.
The thing I have to think about now though is David.
He was there with me when I was Ugly, Pretty, and now that I'm a Special, he's the only person I have.
Memories of Zane are everywhere inside my head. After I got the Pretty operation, I was introduced to him. As a Crim, I fell in love with him.
However, I realize now that before there was Zane, there was David. When I was a Pretty, David helped me see pass the looks. Even though his dad's d eath was my fault, he forgave me.
I realize that David was even more nice to me than Zane ever would be.
When I was an Ugly, David had called me Pretty. Would Zane have done that?
Zane's d eath was horrible for me, and I'm sure David knows how I feel from his dad's d eath.
So, in the end, I loved Zane very much, but I realize I love David more. The only problem now is, how do I tell him?
